Vendor Rules
All Vendors get
● A 12' x 12' booth space or unit/trailer space. Additional booths can be reserved.
● A listing on the Born to be Canadian website with a link to your website, if applicable.
● A promotional post on Facebook and Instagram.
In addition, Food Vendors also get
● One power connection, if required. Additional power is available at an extra cost. ●Water connection, if required.
● Discounts available, if you are self powered. Inquire for more information. General Rules
● All vendors must carry valid event liability insurance/exhibitor coverage for the event setup, duration, and take down.
● All property & products exhibited are done at the vendor's sole risk. Born to be Canadian will assume no responsibility for theft, fire, accidents, injury, mishaps, or damage.
● Booth space cannot be reassigned to sublet by the original applicant.
● Both space is for a single vendor. No sharing.
● Vendors must provide all tables, tents, & equipment. This includes all power cords if requesting power.
● Vendors/exhibitors must offer tangible products, not services, for sale that are suitable for families and people of all age groups.
● Vendors must feature handmade, grown products or direct sales home-based business.
● Vendors utilizing trailers onsite please note that trailers greater than 12' will require two (2) booths, trailers greater than 24' will require three (3) booths, and so on. The length is determined when the trailer is fully operational which includes any additional ramps, doors, and/or awnings.
● Vendors requiring electricity must bring an extension cord no shorter than 100 feet, no smaller than 10 (ten) gauge in size, and rated to at least 20 amps. Please bring your own surge protectors since the festival will not provide these.
● Vendors requiring electricity must advise ALL equipment that requires power, including amperages. Due to power capacities on the grounds, you will be asked to unplug items that were not approved prior to the festival. The use of fans or electric heaters are strictly prohibited and will result in the loss of your space and vendor fees.
● NO PETS ALLOWED on the grounds. Pets are allowed in the vendor parking area only.
● There is no ATM onsite. Vendors must accept cash or be able to process credit/debit transactions.
● Upon approval, payment in full must be made within seven (7) business days or there is a chance you will lose your spot. Setup day onsite payment will not be accepted.
● Cancellations must be made in writing, dated no later than May 15, 2026, to qualify for a 50% refund.
● No refunds after June 1, 2026.
● Vendors must participate on both Festival days – Saturday and Sunday.
● Vendors arriving later will be unable to set up or participate in the Festival.
● Overnight camping at the Festival site is available to vendors only. No hookups. No charge. Water is available.
Important note on food handling
● Any vendor handling food, including free samples, must be in compliance with applicable BC Health regulations.
● Please take the time to read through the Temporary Food Market Guidelines found at the BC Provincial Health Service Authority website. These regulations will apply to any vendor serving food or offering free samples of food to the public.
● All market vendors that are selling high risk food items, as defined in the Guidelines for Sale of Food at a Temporary, are required to obtain a permit from Interior Health prior to selling the product. These high risk products must be
prepared in commercial kitchens, which are monitored and permitted by the local health authority. The guidelines can be found here.

Booth Setup
● Friday, June 12 between 12:00 noon – 9:00 pm
● Saturday, June 13 between 7:00 am – 8:00 am
● Vendors must check in at the vendor gate to receive their information package prior to setting up.
● No vendor is allowed on site before 12:00 noon Friday June 12
● Please unload vehicle & remove from park before setting up
● Vehicles must be removed from park by 8:00 am on Saturday, June 13 Booth Takedown
● Absolutely no packing up or takedowns until after 3:00 pm Sunday, June 14

Food Vendor
Description
Sells prepared foods and/or beverages for consumption on the Festival grounds. Payment Method

Description
Any variety of products that are BC handmade, Home based direct business or grown products.
Born To Be Canadian Festival Committee will decide based on the information on the Booth Application Form if the products offered qualify the applicant for entry in this category. The decision of the Festival Committee will be final.

Community Services
Description
A non-commercial organization that is a registered non-profit society, recognized charitable service group or club, or auxiliary/support group.
The Born To Be Canadian Festival Committee will decide if applicants qualify for this category, and the Director's decision will be final. First, priority will be given to organizations located within the South Cariboo area.
Booth Rate
In lieu of a booth charges each community organization applying for booth space at the Born To Be Canadian Festival will be required to put in 4 hours volunteer time at the festival.

Product
Ticket raffles and draws will be allowed only if the prize is a tangible item. The prize must be made available to the winner at and during the Festival. The Committee reserves the right to approve all prizes to be offered, as part of the application approval process. Draws for CASH are NOT ALLOWED.
The Festival Committee will, decide based on the information on the Booth Application Form if the products offered qualify the applicant for entry in this category. The decision of the Festival Director will be final.
